  • Salmo Ski Hill

    Salmo Ski Hill in the west Kootenays of British Columbia is famous for its great night skiing on fully lit runs that are always groomed to perfection. Salmo offers a wide variety of skiing opportunities for all ages and levels. The hill has varied terrain including groomed runs, gently sloping runs, moguls, steep slopes, pristine powder, racing courses, half pipe, and a bunny hill. Salmo Ski Hill is a volunteer-run ski hill with very friendly staff, excellent skiing both during the day and the night, and no lift lines. It’s a really great place to bring your family and have some fun.

  • Champion Lakes Provincial Park

    An ideal destination for family fun, Champion Lakes Park offers an all-inclusive recreational package to visitors. This includes fishing, canoeing, mountain biking, swimming and hiking. Over 6 km of trails link three lakes together. 3rd Lake, with its two day-use areas, is known for warm water and is popular with the local communities. Champion Lakes Golf and Country Club is a quick 20 minute drive from the park.

  • Rosebud Lake

    Rosebud Lake Regional Park is designated as a Waterfront Access regional park and is located approximately twenty kilometres south of the Village of Salmo en route to the Canada-US border.

  • Erie Lake

    Erie Lake is a lake located just 3.8 miles from Salmo, in Central Kootenay Regional District, in the province of British Columbia, Canada. Fishermen will find a variety of fish including largemouth bass, pumpkinseed sunfish, perch and brook trout here.
